Recently acquired by the Malet Roquefort family, who have reclaimed a property they first sold in 1959, this lovely clay-limestone terroir is one to watch closely: a wine of refined expression, with restrained aromatics, yet without exuberance. The palate is beautifully juicy, fresh, and vibrant. The wine is perfectly ripe, flavorful, and savory, with a full body for the vintage. The tannins are very slightly grainy, with good acidity, and no harshness or tanginess.
