Armens Castle
SAINT-EMILION GRAND CRU
With his family history and experience, Alexandre de Malet Roquefort acquired Château Armens in 1999. This vineyard is spread over clay-limestone soil in the north and sandy-clay soil in the northeast. The subsoil is mainly composed of “crasse de fer”, a type of soft, ferruginous sandstone. Thanks to this terroir, this Saint-Emilion Grand Cru has a very fresh, taut and always very fruity identity.
